Mother’s Day Is Coming… Don’t Miss This

Mother’s Day is coming up, and I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

As moms… we do so much.

And not for recognition.
Not for praise.
Just because that’s what we do.

We show up every day.
We carry the weight.
We love hard, even on the days when we’re completely exhausted.

And if I’m being honest… our kids do know.

Deep down, they know everything we do for them.
They just don’t always show it—and I think that’s just kids in general.

But this is your reminder…

This is the time to show it.

I’m a single mom of five, and my kids are my whole world. I know there are so many other moms out there who feel the exact same way.

So for Mother’s Day—let’s make it count.

Get her something she wouldn’t buy for herself.
Because let’s be real… every mom has that one thing she wants but won’t spend the money on.

And yes—get the flowers.
I don’t care what any mom says… we all love flowers.

Maybe her favorite chocolate.
Her favorite drink.
Something small, something simple.

Because those little things?

They mean more to her than you’ll probably ever understand.

And it’s not about how much you spend.

It’s about being seen.
It’s about feeling appreciated.
It’s about knowing that everything she does… matters.

So this Mother’s Day—

Be intentional.

Celebrate your mom.
Your grandma.
Your aunt.
Whoever stepped in, showed up, and helped raise you.

Give her a break.
Let her rest.
Pick up after her for once.
Make her something.
Let her just be.

Because she deserves that—and so much more.

Mom Life

The Little Things I Didn’t Know I’d Miss

No one tells you that one day, the things that used to exhaust you… will be the things you miss the most.

The little voices calling “mom” from the other room.
The tiny shoes by the door.
The sticky hands reaching for you.

Back then, I was just trying to get through the day.
Now, I’d give anything to go back to some of those moments for just a little while.

Because motherhood isn’t made up of big milestones.

It’s made up of the little things.

The bedtime routines.
The car rides.
The random conversations that don’t make sense but somehow mean everything.

And the craziest part?

You don’t realize they’re the “little things” until they’re gone.

So if you’re in the thick of it right now…
Pause for just a second.

Because one day, you’ll look back and realize—

Those were the moments that mattered most.
